No one wants to reinvent the kingdoms.Or peradventure unlike Kingdoms exists now.
Okay, a bit of a hyperbole, simply I feel that its usually inviting also much trouble(loads and loads of world edifice before even getting to the current events) when most people are simply going to accept that basic setting stuff stays the same unless explicitly contradictory. It is kind of still having Hogwarts in a Harry Potter earth where there is no ministry building of magic as it exists in canon. Sure, 1 could invent a new, different school, but why change what's not cleaved?
Anyhow, how most Ozma switching incarnation methods with Salem, but not beingness a monster?(for one not jumping into the destruction pools)
Write out Salem equally the girl that is more often than not a depressed backseat driver not "learning her lesson" every bit she more than or less lives vicariously through her fleeting hosts. And they continue fucking it up. Burning everything to the basis. So he eventually becomes discouraged, disappointed in these people. And somewhere in there may also be a complex because he can do what they tin can't, but why should he at that point?
Ultimately cease caring, becoming a draconian, cold person that does feel a demand to go out of his manner to fix someone's else's problem. Permit the humans practise information technology on their own...
Non sure what purpose he would even serve in story at that point, unless the heroes need to appeal to a being of power because the situation is otherwise fucked. Mayhap they need some of the relics and he, wherever the mythical person is, is the just i that knows how to get them.
Or, largely make it a human being story that doesn't largely deal with gods, Salem or Ozma. There are plenty of tales that could exist told in a world where these beings have been written out of it.
But then, a lot of setup for an AU.
How about him however creating the maidens when he realized he doesn't care to elevator a finger anymore, but four women either convinced him to pass on the ability or he simply decided to give it to some to act in his stead. Maybe humans could solve it on their own with just 1 final deed of aid.(I tend towards the latter, leaves him some agency for later, whereas the former is a proficient indicate to write the man out of the narrative for the duration of the story entirely)
Ane could get him back then when they run into a maiden having her power, half her soul, stolen and the heroes of the story seeking him out in an attempt to save their friend/family/just maiden. In other words, an entreatment to an ancient, powerful being that is basically a god compared to them cheers to magic.
Alternatively one of the girls could wake up with alt Salem in her head. Would need an explanation for what makes this girl different to the endless generations before her though. Maybe the juxtaposition of said girl also inheriting a maiden drape by run a risk.
Having magic, even simply a part, would be a skilful way to stupor the witch out of her slumber and has a low plenty take a chance to be conceivable. In my stance a better route than going for a setting where she went from Summer to Blood-red, mother to daughter.

Hey guys I was wandering, there is a lot of fanart of a opposite AU rwby story where Ozpin becomes immortal and grimm while Salem reincarnates. So I wanted to inquire you all but practice any of you know any stories like that? Where Ozpin is the bad guy out to destroy the globe while Salem tries to stop him?

Ozma isn't upset. He would ask the GoL if Salem would return and he's all "life is off-white and balanced". Ozma understands perfectly...

Only, somewhen he grows bored, even afraid of his newfound being... Peculiarly since now, he won't reunite with Salem. He knows if he goes to GoL, he'd be pissed, so he goes to Darkness instead and explains the situation, proposing to dive into his pool of destruction. GoD is intrigued that someone wants to dice, even if they are immortal and and then allows him to jump...
It doesn't piece of work. It makes Ozma worse.
Now he craves pure destruction. In that aforementioned while, people defenseless wind of Ozma's immortality and want it likewise. Now GoL is pissed. Not only is an immortal being running around, just so too are humans thirsting for this immortality. The balance is fucked.
So, he insists to GoD to nuke humanity. With his hand forced, GoD does exactly that... Merely Ozma even so lives. Now the Gods are scared. They take no idea how to remove the curse (they didn't put a condition on him like Salem) and so they realize "yeah, let'south make clean slate on some other planet". And they go out.
Ozma wanders the globe, and eventually uses his magic to turn animals into Faunus, just then he can toy with them in his lust for destruction. Meanwhile, GoL peeks at Remnant and sees this, besides equally humanity returning. He and so thinks "okay, if he gets tied down, maybe he won't exist destructive", so he revives Salem and gives her the power to reincarnate, bringing upwards how she has to talk Ozma downwards.
And this works. She finds Ozma, shacks upwardly with him, and he chills out... And then she dies. She reincarnates and finds him... Then dies. Salem realizes she keeps dying so just as she is close to finding happiness because of a spiteful curse her father gave where she will die at her happiest...
And this breaks Salem. So, on the third run effectually, she tells Ozma this. Ozma is horrified, only promises to spend the rest of his life helping her and trying to cure her curse...
But she wants none of it. She had never been happy her entire life and just when she was about to taste information technology, she dies. Every. Time. If she can't be happy, no one can. She proposes they control the Grimm to wipe humanity out, appealing to his want for devastation.
However, Ozma is already sated with the abiding conflicts within humanity that ending the globe just doesn't work for him anymore. Realizing they are at a standstill, Salem tries, in vain, to overpower and kill Ozma... And dies, swearing that she will only exist happy when anybody is dead.
And and so, for the adjacent thou or so years, Ozma and Salem become into a constant struggle. Ozma wants to throw humanity into Nifty War after Great War to sate his thirst for destruction (founding the Academies to make flashier warriors) while Salem amasses a shadow cult to make one of these Great Wars the war that kills them all. That or Ozma finds fighting Salem over and over to exist more fun and that's why he has his shadow forces trying to take her downwardly.

My only guess would be that they have no idea how to properly handle the situation especially since they thought nuking humanity would be take him out so rather than put upward with Ozma and try to do something to him to ensure he isn't a bother, they decide to do a clean slate where they don't have to deal with an immortal with a desire for destruction and people wanting to dip into the pool too. Particularly if those people so get the idea to jump into the Dark Puddle.Though why would the Gods even exist scared of Ozma? Sure they can't kill him, apparently, but they're however infinity stronger than him.

My simply estimate would be that they have no idea how to properly handle the state of affairs peculiarly since they thought nuking humanity would be accept him out and so rather than put up with Ozma and try to practise something to him to ensure he isn't a carp, they decide to do a clean slate where they don't have to deal with an immortal with a desire for devastation and people wanting to dip into the pool too. Especially if those people and then become the idea to spring into the Dark Pool.
I'm extremely doubtful that the Gods would be unable to impale Ozma if they wanted to, peculiarly when his method of immortality was from taking a dip in GoL's puddle. Feel free to ask OT Salem's army how using a God's own power against them typically works out.
