When the question ( Where has Tom gone?) is part of a longer judgement ( Do you know … ? / I don't know … / Can you tell me … ? etc.), the word gild changes. Nosotros say:
What fourth dimension is it? but
   Who are those people?
Where tin can I find Linda?
    How much volition it cost?
Do you know what fourth dimension information technology is?
I don't know who those people are.

Do you accept any idea how much it volition cost?

Be careful with
exercise/does/did questions. We say:

    What do you mean?
Why did she go out early?

Do yous know what rime the film begins?
(non does the picture show begin)
